American Centennial Flag, 1876

Here is a beautiful close-up of a homemade silk Centennial flag with the dates 1776-1876 hand embroidered in silk thread. It's apparent from the flag's construction that the maker of the flag, A. Whipple of Albany, New York, was an expert seamstress

    I can't seem to find your telephone number, but I have a collection of 10 Rare and Collectable US Flags, 1870 to 1910 approximately.
